The popular Waterside café on Broadland Business Park has reopened with a new team, new menus, takeaway options and longer opening hours.

Following an extensive refurbishment, Waterside is launching on Tuesday, 9th May under the management of the company that runs the highly regarded Blofield Farm Shop and Oaklands Hotel on Yarmouth Road in Norwich.

The café, which has attracted people working on Broadland Business Park as well as many local people, and cyclists and walkers who pass through the park, has brand new breakfast and lunch menus with many ingredients sourced from farms throughout the county. A range of Norfolk tea and coffee and speciality foods will also be available, including their own Yum Jars.

Group director, Elly Montgomery, said: “We’re very excited about opening Waterside, becoming a central part of Broadland Business Park and welcoming customers from all over the area. Waterside will offer a relaxed and informal environment where customers can sit and enjoy a great selection of food and drinks, overlooking the lovely lake, with the option to grab and go.”

Joanna Thornton, estate manager at Broadland Business Park, said: “It’s fantastic news that Waterside is to be open again. The café always used to be immensely popular with people on the Park and loads of local people too. The new and completely renovated café will, I am sure, quickly attract a loyal following and create a great atmosphere. The longer opening hours are very welcome too.”

Waterside is open seven days a week, Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 4.00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9.00am to 4.00pm. It is located on Old Chapel Way on next to the lake.
